Stories to hear and read
in English and Thai

Nasreddin is a character from Middle Eastern folklore. He is also known in Uigur culture in North West China. He appears in many stories in which you cannot be sure if he is very wise or very foolish.
As there is a legend that if you hear one Nasreddin story you will not be able to sleep until you have heard six more, the site includes at least seven stories since I do not want to spoil your sleep.

เรื่องเล่าแต่ละเรื่องมีการนำเสนอ 6 รูปแบบ ได้แก่ ตัวบทภาษาอังกฤษ เสียงอ่าน ภาษาอังกฤษ รูปภาพ ตัวบทภาษาไทย เสียงอ่าน ภาษาไทย และการถอดเสียงภาษาไทยเป็นอักษร โรมัน

I believe stories play a very useful part in learning a new language. These stories are meant equally for English-speakers learning Thai and Thais learning English.
Each story is spread over half a dozen panels, with English text, an English reading, a picture, Thai text, a Thai reading and Thai transcribed into the Roman alphabet.
